Home Depot Assault - The Hillsborough Police Department is seeking information about a robbery at a Home Depot on Tuesday that injured one of the home improvement store's top employees.

Police released video on social media Wednesday showing the shooting at the Home Depot in the Hampton Pointe mall. Inside, a man in a mask and hoodie walked with a full bike.

A Home Depot clothing worker, who Hillsborough police say is 82 years old, went out to prevent the suspect from leaving. The masked man pushed the worker out of his way, causing them to fall.

Three Charged In Thefts, Aggravated Assault On An Officer At Bennington Home Depot

Hillsborough police are asking the public for help in finding the suspect, calling the man a "threat to the community." The Facebook page said the suspect is believed to have left in a four-door white Hyundai Sonata with a temporary North Carolina license plate.

Police encourage anyone with additional information about the robbery or the suspect to contact Detective Jones at his office or email or call 919-296-9562. The Hillsborough Police Department also said people can message them on Facebook with tips.
